Frizz

I had a lovely afternoon and evening on Sunday with friends. I love snooping around other people's books and it's reassuring, but also a bit, I don't know, perhaps disconcerting, when I see so many copies that are replicated on my own shelves. I guess there are books that a certain group of us will all have, a complement to our good taste and shared interests? This shouldn't be surprising, but when you think that about 2,000 books are published in the UK every week, it is.
